Line between wakefulness and sleep:
We are at that stage up to understand, discover, realize that little passage between waking-sleep. This increases the attention that we are putting on ourselves by drawing a line between waking and sleep and avoid slipping into unconsciousness.
First technique:
Go to bed early (21 or 22) … Then make sure to get up the real one or the two – eg. set the alarm to sound after 3 or 4 hours you went to bed … At this point, stay awake until 4 … Finally, go back to bed
Ps. between one and four can perform actions that suggest the second technique

Second technique
Before going to sleep … or in the middle of the night (see first technique), do one or more of the following routines:
1 – first exploited the first 15-20 minutes to break the mold mental-nocturnal habits, eg:
a) go to the bathroom a dozen times, and bathe your eyes with cold water (or hot) … affix the mirror and use creative visualization (eg. videre imagine your third eye open and secure over the threshold)
b) —-> do gymnastics, stretching for a few minutes – Technical Option -> when you feel the tingling / vibration gently try to get up out of bed (with eyes closed) and to express any intention proposals, or to reflect on some aspect of spiritual particularly intriguing (eg, dimensional portals accessible mentally, psychic healing, emotional balance, tricks of the law of attraction, etc …)
– Just imagine for an instant to challenge a FLAMING SWORD in one hand and an energy shield that protects your whole body
c) Breathing Exercises (Pranayama eg)
As you breathe think of the word “RELAX”
inhale slowly pronouncing the syllable “RE”.
Then slowly you say “LAX” exhale.
The entire word should sound something like this: “[started to breathe] Reeeeeeeeeeeee …. [started to exhale] laaaaaxxxxx.”
(Instead of the word “relax”, you can use “light”, “peace”, “harmony”, “strength”, “courage”, etc … or think of something / someone who inspires passion, some pattern of life or motivating character))
Repeat this simple procedure, at least a couple of times a day …

d) keep the mind active inssitentemenente asking you if you are in a dream,
e) read something strange that stimulates your curiosity, look at motivating youtube movies, listen to something pleasant / relaxing (mp3, audio books, etc.).

f) repeat some challenging statements, such as: “My intention is to have a lucid dream” – “I’M OUT OF THE BODY” – “I am firmly convinced that I can astral project” “I’ll be alert and in control of my body dreamy “” mastered the art of dream “, etc … (Invent other phrases …)

f) keep a journal of memories, where you record all your impressions, feelings, thoughts -> updated the book reporting the situations experienced in the dream, the characters with whom you have interacted, peculiarities, oddities (eg hands too large, small door, different colors than usual, special sounds etc.).

2 – go back to bed, get in the supine position and stand still for about 10/20 minutes … until you feel tingling or heat permeate your body …. If you can use your imagination in order to create scenarios like this:
– Pretend to move some part of the body, or even pretend to have a second body moving inside of you, trying to get out
– Swing gently with the body movements impercettbili (or imagine you are on a swing while you are giving the impulses)
– Imagine rotate (90 °, 180 °, etc. ..) the body on itself
– Imagine having the magnets that attract outside
– Display a string, or something that symbolically gives you the idea to be able to raise the ceiling …. or imagine that your body is getting heavier and sink more and more
– Imagine that the body is like a rubber band that can stretch to fit your needs

…. in practice play for half an hour with the imagination and the feelings corporeema mainly acquired vibration control consciously trying to guide them through the body from head to toe and back of the head. When it is able to exert an absolute control, you are ready for separation from the body.

At that point, when it comes also the mental and physical fatigue, you can safely change position in bed and turn around as you like, the important thing is to keep the firm intention of living “consciously” a lucid dream …. Just be confident in the success of these experiences and do not be afraid of anything …
If all goes well, the mind is calm and positive emotions, you should be able to easily experience a pleasant experience …

The first result of living with detachment (which is not cold), it is to see of course intensified the memory and a certain degree of intensity and clarity of the astral.

The following article is part of the material in preparation for a book on the subject of astral projection. It ‘a work in progress, and will be regularly updated. The author takes care of the Astral Projection Home Page.
This article focuses on ‘”experience” part of the experience-out-of-body (“OBE”). Describes the feelings, sights and sounds common to the proceedings in which the astral body separates from the physical body partially or completely. It also lists the attitudes held by “projectors” of success. Many people new to the process are often quite surprised and relieved to learn that their “strange” experiences are in fact perfectly natural and quite common.
Depending on your level of experience, you could find yourself in some, many or perhaps even all of the items listed below. Your experiences may go beyond those presented here. This article is cumulative – lists all the experiences that I could remember. A typical OOBE will probably not include the entire contents of the list. After 50 or 100 OBE, however, you will probably recognize many of the voices.
One more thing on this: there are literally dozens of techniques that can be used to leave the body. For newcomers, many of them may seem confusing, inconsistent and complicated. Why is it so? Someone trying to teach an OOBE technique must obviously be based on its unique understanding of the phenomenon and its vision of the world “color” the presentation. Consider for a moment the staggering number of religions, philosophies, movements and beliefs. Now imagine someone from each of these points of view, trying to tell OBE. They are all describing the same mountain, but each of them advocate a different path to the top!
Have you ever been in a trance (mind awake / body asleep)? Whether you by dancing around a fire, sitting zazen, or progressive relaxation, the results are likely to be very similar. The same is true for the OBE. The OOBE process itself is fairly straightforward and refreshingly untainted by “belief”.
There is an exceptionally important reason why you should thoroughly familiarize yourself with the details of the OOBE. Do you know why? When you are “out”, LACK OF FAMILIAR OFTEN RESULTS IN FEAR AND AN IMMEDIATE RETURN TO THE BODY. Fear is like a “proceed directly to jail” [in the game of Monopoly, NdT], where the prison is your physical body. And do not kid yourself, intellectual understanding alone will not do: the process must become comfortable with your body and especially your Unconscious Mind. Otherwise your fears run rampant.
This article should help you understand that your experiences are natural and quite common. Relax, you’re not alone. In addition, basing the approach on the experience itself rather than technical assistance, will help to minimize the taint of “world view”. Finally, knowing the scenery so to speak will help you stay relaxed, focused and composed, which are all essential to the success of an OBE.
The next time you have an OBE, try writing your experience (after the return to your body, of course) and identify what you felt, saw, heard and thought at each stage. You will be surprised by the results. Remember, the answer is there!
Astral Signposts:
The OBE Are Something You “Do” – And Can Get Better.
While to some people just seem to happen OBE (spontaneously or miraculously), the lamps of success have the idea that the OBE is something we “do.” Results are produced with the right knowledge and attitude, diligent practice, and with a long-term effort. Everyone may have an OBE “aware”? Probably not. Can you? Maybe. It may sound like a cliché, but the fact that you’re reading this article means that you are interested in this subject, and this suggests that you have some degree of astral ability. Let your interest take root and grow. Are you willing to work on this without reservation? Well!
Projectors Are Drawn.
Like moths to flame, many of us are attracted by the OBE. We can not really help it. Not that OBEs are nice, clean, fantastic, or the “in” thing to do at a deeper level something drags us. Remember that time, long ago, when you were a kid and you found yourself “out”? You can not forget it, right? Memory and the feeling is always there … tugging at you.
Projectors Successful Long-Term Are Physically.
There is an unfortunate tendency for some people to become physically weak and mentally disoriented as a result of OOBE. Some say it is easier to obtain when the body is physically weak. This may be true, but it is a short-term strategy and short-sighted. Successful projection requires an abundance of internal energy, much of which can only be derived from a healthy physical body (think of it as your generator). A physical body relaxed, balanced and healthy is far superior to a weak and sickly. In addition, a weak body negatively affects the mind. You should do regular exercises to ensure that you stay healthy. Why do you think the yoga masters and Zen practice a physical discipline, not just meditation? If you feel yourself becoming “capricious” or disoriented, take a break from training and go ‘walk in the park or on the beach, play with your children, participate in a sport, etc.. Give yourself time to recharge your battery.
Physical Limitations Do Not Result In Astral Limitations.
Having said that it is important to do some things to keep your body healthy, I should add that physical limitations do not necessarily affect your ability to have OBEs. I wear glasses and I’m pretty short-sighted. However, my view during OBE is perfect. What about people with missing limbs? Many will find that “whole” when they are “out.” I believe that you can learn to project despite illness, physical limitations, damages, etc.. And you can project despite the fact that you have metal or other foreign objects in corpo.Tieni in mind that the shape is a very flexible thing in. Sometimes people project only as a point of consciousness, a form, or as anything recognizable. So you should not feel too attached to your body shape, otherwise this will make it more difficult to throw. I think the pure astral form is always the best, so to speak. It is neither young nor old, and at the highest levels is neither male nor female. The astral body perceives as the disembodied soul.
Astral diet.
There is no magic diet that leads to successful OBE. Rather, the proper diet during training OBE is the one that makes you feel healthy, energetic and comfortable. Heavy foods (especially meats), oily or spicy foods make it difficult to train. Many years ago I was in a class learning to sit zazen and the teacher said that we should not eat pizza before training. There is nothing wrong with pizza, he just did not want to burp (because it would disrupt the meeting and our calm)! In addition, eating or drinking too much will make you have to go to the bathroom more often, which could disrupt your exercise OBE. It is better to feel a little hungry while doing the exercises, rather than too pieno.Molte people have told me that being a little thirsty is useful. Put a glass of water in the living room or in another room, and will yourself to leave your body to go bere.Non think it is necessary to be a vegetarian, but I can appreciate the value. Reading About OBE Little Help.
I’ve never met anyone who simply read books about guitars magically developed the ability to play! OBEs are like playing a musical instrument, practicing a martial art, meditating, etc.. You should read books and articles to familiarize yourself with the subject, but success requires practice (and often years of trial and error). And keep in mind that, as described below, you will need to learn to work with the non-verbal awareness, and this is the antithesis of conventional forms of study such as reading or attending conferenze.Andai once a writer’s conference and I spoke with one of the speakers. He said that many of the same people turned out year after year but have never written anything! Do not become a “fan” of OBE. There are other things to do. I also know a Zen priest who like to say that reading an entire library of books on Zen adds less than a pimple on your butt! The same can be said about OBE.
A Belief System.
Successful astral projectors have a belief system in which the OBE are accepted. Suppose you define life as spirit animating the flesh. Well, the fact that the spirit leaves the body seems to violate this definition. Unless the OBE does not get along with your beliefs, your conscious mind – and more importantly your Unconscious Mind – will create all kinds of obstacles to your success.
Just keep them in perspective.
Take a look at the tip of the little finger of your right hand. Here is what the OBE are important in the grand scheme of things. The OBE does not make you enlightened, do not give a “green light” to Paradise, etc.. Some people read the Saints could leave their bodies and foolishly think that developing the same skills will make them saints. Hey, they did much more than that! You have to work on your life!
An Attitude Fearless, Daring.
Who, you? Yes you! You may have heard or read about all kinds of dangers associated with OBE. I wrote an article entitled Understanding Out-of-Body Fears [Understanding the Fear Out of the Body, NdT] which lists many of the fears of the people according to the number of times they have left their body. As expected, people who have had many experiences tend to be less fearful. But fear is something that needs to be managed, especially for principianti.Credo that there is a “fear barrier” designed to keep out curious and timid. OOBE success comes to those who fully understand the risks but want to train despite it all. Hey, most of us can not help the OBE in any way – we are drawn to it. In short, many seemingly irrational fears are created by the Unconscious Mind because it is “disoriented” with the astral process. Have you asked for its permission and cooperation? Many OOBE fears are based on the assumption wrong that the astral world is a direct (but less dense) counterpart of the physical world. If you went on a journey to a strange place in “this” world, you rightfully worry about getting lost. Not surprisingly, the most commonly reported fear OBE is to get lost. Falling is another very common fear. Do not let your 3D assumptions in the way of your OOBE training.
Affirmations OBE.
Some people find it helpful to write and repeat claims about OBE, positive statements about what you want to do (or can already do). The mere repetition can not do anything but express significant words and phrases with 100% conviction should produce some results. To understand, you are giving instructions to your Unconscious Mind: Be very careful about what you ask for, you may get it!
The Place For The Exercises.
Should be clean, quiet, safe, uncluttered and possible, reserved for OOBE. You will pick up the vibrations of the area when you are “out” – see also – so plan ahead. In addition, the disorder tends to confuse beginners. I would avoid heavy electrical equipment in the immediate area. Turn off radio and television, turn off the alarm, unplug the phone, prevent disruptions. Then make sure the door is locked so you do not have to worry later “ghosts” intrusi.Quando you have a “special” place for OOBE, your Unconscious Mind will learn that it is time to “get out” when you’re there. The only enter that space with the aim of leaving your body will start in your Unconscious Mind all’autoexec [list of commands that you autoesegue startup, NdT] of OBE. If you practice a martial art, think of your training place as your dojo OBE. You could also think of it as your temple OBE. It is a special, holy place, where you come face to face with your True Self. You should treat it with reverence.
The Partners.
If you share a bed with a spouse or lover, you may consider moving to another room for a few hours for OOBE. Continuous movements or noises can be very disturbing. In addition, a sleeping person might induce you to sleep well, sleep is contagious. Of course, if your partner also projects, OOBE in the same bed or place would be ideal.
The Location.
You are lying flat on his back. Maybe you’re sitting in a comfortable chair, or in the lotus position on the floor. In any case, resting comfortably in a stable position. Make sure that the falling forward of the head do not stop OBE. In most cases the OBE walking or otherwise moving parts are an exception.
Magnetic Orientation.
Do not worry about it. Some swear by aligning towards magnetic North. I think this is just a mental crutch. You are about to go out of the conventional time / space, so might as well start thinking in a non-limiting. Do not create unnecessary obstacles to the projection.
Some Form of Prayer of Protection.
Many skilled projectors protect their physical space and various bodies (physical and astral) with prayers, energy formations, etc.. One of my teachers advised me to always, always do (and I do!).
Clear Purpose – Objective defined.
Have a very clear idea of what you’re doing. Do not just think “I am going to leave my body.” This is too general for now. Plan a specific course – where you’re going, who you will visit (with permission), that you will discuss, when you come back, etc.. Have a TARGET! Go there physically, and set an energy (a mooring buoy, so to speak). Then want to go there with your whole being. Half-hearted efforts do not yield results. Most people fail at OBE because they lack the discipline and patience to train correctly. It’s not something to do because it’s fun or to be able to say, “I’ve been there, I did.” It ‘a very serious undertaking. Astral keys can open a Pandora’s Box or the Hall of Records!
Purpose or Meta Noble.
There is a Japanese saying: “bachi ga ataru.” We say, “What goes around comes around.” The bad deeds come back multiplied and in return is very fast. Act at all times nobly and with good intentions.
Some Form Of Progressive Relaxation.
You will probably find that a systematic method of progressive relaxation the body produces far better results than just lying there. It will also help to avoid falling asleep involuntarily. Many people visualize the various parts of the body switching off, from the toes to the head. Feel your body (the inside as well as outside) and watch as it slows down and goes to sleep (in a trance).
Some Form Of Deep Or Rhythmic Breathing.
Breathing exercises are an important part of progressive relaxation. The breaths are gradually lengthened so that the number of inhalations and exhalations per minute is reduced. Sometimes you might even feel like not breathing at all, or that the air is coming in through the skin. Your internal energy is largely generated by respiration, so proper breathing is extremely important. When you’ve finished your routine of progressive relaxation combined with deep breathing or rhythm, you will likely find the next stage.
Catalepsy Or Sleep Paralysis.
Your physical body “goes to sleep”. It will be heavy and you can not move it, except with great effort. Groped to move at this point will likely terminate the experience and result in discomfort. Some people panic the first time you experience this paralysis. Relax, soon learn to enjoy it. It ‘an excellent sign of progress.
Alarm mind.
You might get the feeling that while your body is completely asleep (paralyzed), your mind is fully awake – in fact it is incredibly clear. The initial novelty of this experience should help you focus on what’s going on and minimize any stray thoughts. Gradually let your thoughts settle. Do not start new lines of thought. Simply relax mentally until you are pure awareness.
The Buzzing Sound.
Energy takes many forms. You will likely hear a sound that can be as gentle as rustling leaves, it could be more like the buzzing of insects, or even as strong as a train rattles or howling hurricane. You might even hear music. Something you will probably hear and be quite pronounced. Relax, it’s normal. If the sound is annoying, try to raise the pitch an octave or two.
Light.
Although described less often, the energy could produce flashing lights, waves of pulsating colors, etc.. I find that at a certain pitch and intensity of sound, light kicks. I think that the light is the highest form of energy. Your eyes might flicker (rapid eye movements). Rather than groped to look around (with your eyes closed because you can not move) focus your attention on your third eye (the spot between the eyebrows).
Feel “Itchy Skin.”
Depending on the form (s) taken by your energy, you may feel electric, itchy, like bugs are crawling all over you skin, so hot. Again, relax. If it is uncomfortable, try to raise the pitch (frequency energy). The physical sensations follow the pitch. With practice the process becomes pleasant. I sometimes get the feeling of being warmed by the sun “from the inside”.
Hard Tongue.
This does not happen very often, but if light and sound become very strong and your eyes are fixed on the third eye, you may feel your tongue pressing against the palate and becoming rigid. Your breathing will probably become very rapid. This is described in the literature on Kundalini. Time, remain calm and watch – this is a pretty rare and great! You can leave your body later.
Sudden calm.
The sound of roaring, the light is flashing, your skin is electric … then suddenly everything stops. The silence is deafening. For a second you can not even think about. Are you still in your body but you feel like a small point of awareness in a huge space. It’s almost like being in a dark cave. Just wait. Do not let your mind run off in a million directions. Something wonderful is about to happen.
A Switch-Over Non-Verbal Awareness.
You can not think in the way to which you are accustomed. One of my teachers described this by saying: “You can not think of one, two three.” In addition, you become a witness to what is happening. But your awareness is not passive. You still have control, only that there is no internal record or dialogue. There is no separation between thought and action. Later, after you return to your body, you can translate the experience into words. This is rather like remembering a dream. In fact, the observer of the dream and the Watcher of is the stesso.Questa phase is critical. Practice “non-verbal awareness” during normal consciousness is an important part of OOBE. Reading without verbalizing (the words just stream in without being spoken or translated … as a modem ultra-fast), typing without verbalizing, performing a dance or martial arts without thinking … these are all helpful. You will find that “awareness without words” is not the same as “not thinking.” Without formulating the question you will find the right answer – without interruption.
The Observer.
I am not using this term with reference to a particular belief system. Some religions or groups might also use the term. I am using it in an experiential sense. When I project, I feel the presence of my own “Watcher” which is a part of “me” but not part of my ordinary thinking mind. It is there when I project, dream, sleep, think, daydream, work … forever. This could be my “Higher Self” … I do not know. After this article was first published, someone suggested that the term “control” was more appropriate. I think in truth that no term is sufficient. You could call it “the part of you that can not be named but you know it’s always there, and it’s incredibly wise and powerful and ageless ….”
The Concept Of Yourself And ‘Limiting – Light For Your Trip!
What do you think you will limit the perceptions acceptable to you. Inconsistent perceptions seem dreamlike, or will be ignored or deleted. Imagine yourself purified to the bare essence – the part of you that really makes you, you. Imagine a large mass of coal, through the ages, it becomes a diamond. Much of what you consider to be “you” (height, weight, skin color, sex, age, race, religion, economic status, education level, etc..) Does not pass from life to life. They are just variables. It is the core, the essence, the real you that is active during the OBE. Leave behind the “traps” are also needed of your personality. Are you ready … there is a bigger YOU attesa.Stai going on a divine trip. Pack lightly.
Movement.
You are moving. Direction is irrelevant … up, sideways, down. There is no “good” or “bad.” Follow the flow. Rise, float, spin, sink, climb, fly high …. It should be ‘with it, not fight it. You could feel the air rushing over your body, your hair flowing back, all this indicates movement. You could feel the breath of the wind. Bene.Se not experience a sense of movement, you can start displaying it. Do not just imagine up. Try also to imagine the feeling of escape. Be creative.
Expanding Boundaries – Physical.
You might feel like your body is growing in every direction – as if the boundaries are expanding. You can feel in the head, feet, or even near your stomach. Relax and go. Extend the feeling. Back and extend it again, this time farther. This is a good time to imagine floating like a cloud.
Dual Awareness.
You may feel you are simultaneously inside and outside of your body. Sometimes your awareness will bounce back and forth! This is usually a transition stage which will pass fairly quickly. Remain aware at this time. Leaving the body is really learning to shift your attention from one place (the physical body) to another (the astral body). The astral body is not limited to sleep in the body during your waking hours, but is very active. Right now it might be outside of your physical body and you do not even know! Can you shift your attention to it?
The Tunnel.
Some people (especially in near-death experiences) is moving down a dark tunnel with a light at the end point. Some do not. It does not matter. You’re not out of the body … but you’re almost there.
Click!
Here it is! You might hear a click, a switching sound, a crack. It’s not your skull breaking … it’s just sound. Maybe it’s the sound of an astral form of static electricity as you go through the physical barrier. Congratulations … you’re out!
Black Out
Maybe you’ve lost consciousness. Remember, you’ve already lost your normal thinking mind and switched to the non-verbal. But for a few minutes you could be in a completely “blacked out.” It’s all right. Just be good to recall your awareness at the earliest opportunity.
Awakening In A Dream.
You regain consciousness awakening in a dream. A lucid dream can be an entry point for the OBE. Identify any anomalies in the dream. Take control by doing something tactile, touch something. Skilled astral projectors are usually also skilled dreamers.
Pure terror.
Some, after weeks, months or years of training, they finally OBE only to be frightened to the bone, gripped by absolute terror, scared almost to death, etc.. Panic sets in, and the immediate result is a rapid and sometimes unpleasant return to the body. Why the fear? Imagine that you are standing near the edge of a precipice. Intellectually you feel perfectly safe but your “gut” makes you feel scared. Your body reacts to situations that it perceives as dangerous. During your first OOBE, you will still be very close to your physical body – barely separated from it – and still exert a strong influence on you. Believe me, the fear disappears with experience. Oh, another reason for the fear is that you think you are dead … really dead. If you are reading this, obviously was not vero.Se the fear persists, go back and reassess your beliefs. In addition, respectfully ask your Unconscious Mind what’s troubling.
You’re Home.
Do you feel that you have returned to a familiar place, somewhere where you’ve been a long time ago. You did it! You’re home, safe. Cherish the feeling. Probably do not want to leave.
Your Normal State.
You are a physical being that can project into the astral, or astral being that descends from the meat? Think about it for a moment. Now you are physical (I assume) and later may have an OBE. Black-out Secondario.Tu may have had a “black out” (loss of consciousness) when you first left your body. It might happen again when you are out, but for a different reason. You black out whenever you exceed your ability to perceive or remember. The Tu-Observer can detect a lot of things. But the Tu-Consciousness can only remember a few. And maybe they are not aware of their abilities. Maybe you’ve already met on channel 36. Can they remember? Can you?
Reluctance To Talk.
You might consider your gift to be a secret carefully guarded. Depending on your social and personal environment, you may be right. I think 99% of people who do this are reluctant to talk about it – unless you have a circle of friends included, with the same gift. Those of us who write about the experience tend to have a weird split personality, mega-mega-verbal and non-verbal at the same time (or able to switch back and forth easily).
Changed Attitude About Death.
Have you been out of your physical body. It was not so bad, eh? In fact, it feels like a homecoming. Your views about death might need to be revised. Not that you’re looking forward to death, but still you are not running away.
